Vin Diesel announced the release date of 'Fast and Furious 7' on his
Facebook page. The death of Paul Walker caused producers to halt the
film's production, however it seems the film will be released ahead of
schedule in April 2015.
Fans of the Fast and Furious franchise breathed a sigh of relief on Sunday (22nd December) when the producers of the seventh film announced it would be released, despite the untimely death of one of its stars, Paul Walker.
Producers initially anticipated the film's release date would be delayed but it seems the film will be completed ahead of schedule. Fast and Furious 7 was initially slated to be released in Summer 2015. However, Vin Diesel announced the film would be released on April 10th 2015. In his statement, posted on his Facebook page on Sunday, Diesel included a still from his last scene with Walker.
His post read: "The last scene we filmed together.There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared. in the film we were now completing. the magic captured. and, in just how far we've come." He then revealed the released date and added that Walker would "want you to know first."
